Scenes from Appleton's Paper Discovery Center

Below are a few photos I took at the Paper Discovery Center in Appleton in November, 2005. This is an exciting place to learn about the history of paper, how it is made, and what the paper industry is all about. It features displays interactive displays, beautiful artwork, and many educational exhibits dealing with paper. This beautiful center is in the old Atlas Mill of Appleton, and also houses the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame. It's popular for students and tourists, but more locals should go check it out. It represents a vital part of the Valley's heritage. Admission is $4.00 for adults, $2 for students (including college students), and $10 for families. Open Tuesday - Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 4:00 p.m. Closed Mondays.
